    Hey mate, yeah, I'm not very active on the servers lately, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you all in-game again soon! Yep, I'm doing well, thanks I hope you're doing well, too  
    I wouldn't say that camping is as big of a problem on other CoD4 servers as it is here. In fact, on many servers, it's against the rules to camp and admins usually kick players who are notoriously camping. And at least on the servers I've been playing at for some time, camping is no longer an issue.

    Ad the punishment for camping - there have been many great ideas in this thread to mitigate the problem. But the most difficult task is probably the implementation. Somewhere in this thread, I already pointed it out that detecting the campers is not as easy as it might sound, so getting this to work correctly might take some time and a lot of trial and error.

    I'm sorry but it requires 0 skill to spray from the hip to get kills on the hardcore server, the issue with the p90 is the sheer magazine size is 50 bullets, now on hardcore with 100DMG that 2-3 shots per kill give or take( thats 16 kills per magazine if you had perfect accuracy) , that doesn't seem very fair now does it, personally the m21 and p90 need removing as the nerfs required for the weapons would make them un-usable anyways.
     
    Personally i don't think it is fair that someone wtll not very much 'skill' can just hipfire spray 50 bullets whilst walking round corners.... if anything you're losing more of the 'skilled' players and the trusted and older players of the server and even now admins have stopped playing as much because now at the point where even i don't want to play i just watch most the time because EVERY player decides to hop on the bandwagon, more people want this gun BANNED/REMOVED then people actually want it altering.

    And why players need to use the p90 instead of complaining about it, they have a right to there own opinions. Also if so many people are complaining about it to the point where its irritating you, doesn't that kinda prove my point by most people want it removed?

    Well what about the people that liked to use RPG? There is a good few of those but no one cared about disabling it now, but all of a sudden because everyone OP gun is on the balance everyone is unhappy

    It's because of the mod. Once this is out of the testing phase nothing will be reset.
     
    4th button is reserved for stuff from care package and nuke. Anyone can get a nuke without selecting it.

    After playing several hours, I have to say m21 has too much damage yet! the fact that its a low recoil gun makes the DMG useless! ""1 shot won't kill, FINE I'll shoot 3 shots every time! it doesn't matter, I don't have to aim again."" 
    Btw lately with 67 DMG most of the time you die with one shot. which is weird.
    So Lets just ban m21 and be done with it. 
     
    More importantly, p90.  (  Kill me now)  It has too much damage and ammo! "" just prefire every corner or door that you wanna go through and you still have enough ammo to kill an army."" 
    As this is a favorite gun in the server (KILL ME NOW AGAIN!) banning it is not a good option! it might reduce the number of players. So why not reduce the damage? maybe like half?

    When you were filling out your Appeal I’m sure you saw the words ‘Bans for cheating will NOT be lifted.’ At the top of the page, and all you had to do on the main menu of COD4 was to select ‘Start New Server’. 
     
    Plus why why even hack anyway? And I’m sure this ‘GaMMeR’ would agree about your ban. And I’m not afraid of giving you a second chance as we just don’t unban hackers- You made a mistake and it’s on you and it’s our job to keep hackers off the servers.

    Thank you for your Appeal, However regardless of what server you were banned on(Deathrun, Promod, Softcore, Hardcore) it shouldn't matter as you were caught hacking as a ban on one server means you're banned on every IceOps hosted server and cannot be unbanned in only one, If you wanted to use your 'Elebot' you should've just created a server on your own PC for testing it instead of playing in an actual server- and because of this your ban will stay I'm afraid.

    After playing for a good few days, i feel the anti-camp is not working very well, i'm still getting one shotted by m21's sitting in the same place every game on a regular basis and they are avoiding the anti camp DMG system by simply using stopping power which i tried myself , i was very rarely getting hitmarkers.

    Also i think stuns need to be removed as by the time you actually can move or see when you get stunned your DMG is at 64 unless you constantly move but then you're at an even more disadvantage which i don't think should be the case.

    All these gameplay updates aside, is there anyway we can get a new map rotation? These maps are getting quite old and a lot of players are asking for new maps, as admins we can change the maps ourselves but the players cant without having half the players voting yes and when it's full of 36 people, it's very difficult to actually get the map to change.

    There is quite a few maps where it is literally impossible to get out of the spawn trap , e.g. Vacant, chinatown ,crash  i actually switch to spectator during these maps(most of the time) due to not being able to get out. I'm not an inexperienced player either and even for me its extremely difficult when the spawns are being hard locked by campers and grenades. Or maybe a function that is able to be put in that gives the team that cannot move from spawn a chance to actually get out.

    I totally agree about the map rotation! Some of the maps are really atrocious in TDM. For example, Ambush, Chinatown, Vacant... They are just way too unbalanced. Crash is fine in my opinion because it's balanced. Yes, there is a lot of campers on either side, but there is always a way to get out of the spawn and it's a well-balanced map.
    It would be nice to have some custom maps, too... For example, mp_marketcentre is a nice map IMHO. Or some maps from CoD MWII such as mp_favela, mp_highrise, mp_terminal, mp_scrap... It would bring something new to the server.

    I did ask for the Demo provided and i personally thought he was using something such as No recoil&Wallhack, i even got a second opinion and they thought the same aswell, i didn't ban ban due to head admins being more experienced then i am and maybe they would choose a better decision other then i did.

    However due to him not being banned, i will personally take it upon myself to keep an eye on this player!
     
    I am happy to recieve any demo's or evidence regarding this matter

    Thanks for submitting a Player Report, However the one kill on Vacant where they spin around and start shooting at the player by the pillar after re-spawning looks odd, there just isn't enough proof to enforce a ban sadly.
     
    P.S; If you come across them again and they're playing fishy please make some more recordings and submit them again.

    Thanks a lot for removing the RPGs!

    @leiizko What made you change the player's HPs anyway? Even with stopping power, Deagle isn't one-tapping now Many people are still questioning whether this server is still HC.

    Ad the hitreg, I dare to say it was always slightly off, but yeah, it feels a bit worse now. And also, sometimes when I kill someone, the kill gets confirmed after like 200ms or so... Happens only sometimes and not exclusively when the other player is lagging. And my ping was stable at the time of noticing this.

    Thank you so much for the updates especially removing RPG's!!
    I'm glad health has been reduced also as not one shotting with the deagle was infuriating XD
     
    As for the hitreg , i've noticed it seems to of got worse,i will play a bit more today and get a better feel and record what i get.

    Quick update:
    HP has gone down to 45. I think this should be enough to keep deagle 1 shot at longer ranges (close range deagle does 50 damage) and ARs at 2 shots (most ARs do 40 damage).
    RPGs are no more!
     
    On the subject of hitreg, did you notice hitreg being worse after this update (initial anticamp update) or was it pretty much the same before?

    I would say the wallbang damage should be set back to what it was prior to this update. The walls being penetrable wasn't the root cause of the problem anyway. The problem is campers who just hold one spot that is hard to reach from the opposing team. Yes, on crash this very spot is also easily penetrable through a wall, but that's just in this particular case.

    And after many other gameplays, I think it's safe to say that the anti-camp feature should really be applied to sniper class, too, regardless of the weapon of choice. Since this update, so many players started using various sniper rifles, mainly M21, SVD and Barret. So half of the server consists of snipers now.

    Also, increasing the players' health resulted in people asking if this is still an HC server. Deagle isn't one shot one kill anymore, even with higher impact. And even though the health got increased, some weapons, such as M21, are still OP. So I would go the other way around, that is decreasing the damage of the problematic weapons.

    Nevertheless, it feels like we're getting into an XY problem here. And I think we should really focus on solving X, rather than trying to figure out ways to solve Y which is actually a problem caused by X.
    In other words, the problem was that on this server there are too many notorious campers. This problem is now being mitigated by lowering weapon damage in case the player doesn't move for a certain period of time. And although it could still use some polishing, I think it's this that we should focus on. After this issue is addressed, we can think about the other problems we've talked about, such as the problem with grenade and RPG spamming.
