Well an admin was not warning anyone. Did not say anything at all. Also Winston did not ban anyone else before me. So recap, was talking trash to a cheater... no warning just 6 hour ban. Upon rejoining the server people were doing the EXACT thing I was doing, but not to cheaters. I know it may be shocking that people talk crap in a videogame.... but they do. Admins and players alike. But to ban one and log off is a bit strange...

have you been on the server for more than 15 seconds? everyone uses bad language... and to be fair... I was yelling at a cheater... maybe a little insane?!

Well ban expired... No one said anything... Still irritated not gonna lie... People cuss on the server, and I was yelling at a cheater... kinda insane.

No I understand younger kids do play this game, BUT should it be up to everyone else to cater to the young kids? Because obviously the parents don't care. I mean even the campaign swears.

Well honestly, I just started playing this game on pc, and this is one of the first servers I played on. I figured it was like other game I have played where it was a setting on my end. But I have given my 1 and 1/2 cents.

Well here was the thing... I was talking crap to someone who was cheating... I think that deserves ATLEAST the admin informing the player why he is being temp banned...I still don't know what admin did it, and I don;t really care. But I assumed I was on good terms with the admins I have run into so far. Guess I caught one on an off day? Also Delta, I will be the first to admit that I was unaware that profanity was against the rules, I assumed since it is a mature game.... and we shoot at each other.... and hack people into tiny pieces... and people explode into millions of bits... and that the game is mature.... that profanity was acceptable lol. But i did read over the rules during my... timeout

well i did not write it down, and I didn;t know it would give it to me when i went back.But it is 267055.

So is there a specific order the admins should go in as far as warn/kick/ban.... or can they ban for minor offences? I ask because if it is something simple like spacing profanity to avoid the language filter... should a simple warn work to begin with? I guess what I am asking is should a temp ban be issued as a first punishment for simple rule violations?

Short information about what happened (what you did and what you did not, remember all of this can be verified in the server logs) Admin must have been logged on with diff name bc there was not an iceops in there. I was not warned at all. I was talking bad about a guy that was lag jumping on a map. I would like to know what admin did this and why I was not even given a warning. I have been on this server a lot lately and never had a problem before. I am not sure why bad language on a mature game is bannable... -Bigals
