So, as some of you are aware I have been inactive for the past year or so due to personal work life etc., but the main reason was that I could no longer join the IceOps servers. This was due to Cod4x. No one seemed to be able to help me before, but I thought I would try again, as I miss playing Deathrun. Without Cod4x installed, I am able to join and play on servers that do not require Cod4x installed. I installed the mod through the download when attempting to join the IceOps servers for the first time. I load up the game. Go to join an IceOps server. Then this happens... https://prntscr.com/hzbtuu I do not know why. I have never found a solution. Can any of you help? : ( https://cod4x.me/index.php?/forums/topic/2378-cod4x-error-817/ Edit: I get the Error 817 whenever I try and join ANY server, not just the IceOps server!... Edit 2: I created a thread on the Cod4x forum, and have posted the link if anyone else wants to stay updated on the issue for further use/knowledge on the topic!

Yes, but I have Cod4 through Steam, so any patches will be automatic upon reinstallation?

From what I remember of the last time we tried this, no one really played on the server... I mean, by all means give it another shot, as I'm unfamiliar with how the community is now, with being away for so long. Who knows, it may work out this time!

I do not know anything about mapping, so I am unsure on whether this would be possible for just one map in the rotation. However, I can see where you are coming from, and it is a good idea! I am just unsure on whether it is possible, and whether someone would have the time do go out of their way to do it

We also require some form of proof, either a screenshot of the reported player breaking rules, or a demo/video footage of it. Never really played it much myself, but I'm pretty sure the Arma games might work out well for popularity?

Without proof of leaving as the activator we cannot respond to that aspect of the report. If someone else could take a look at the demo and respond to the initial report, that would be great please, as I am not currently at home to do so myself.

You should be able to join the servers again, you shouldn't need to do anything.

This was a 30 minute ban, not a perm ban... @Aurel004 was the one who banned you.

Just to be clear to others who may view this report, I'm assuming Liserd was the activator, and knifed through a wall or something? Please make it clearer what glitch was abused in future reports to make it a little better for others to understand

I'm not sure about Rozo, but with DR if you had the old dr.iwd file (I think it was this one) you could use that as a backup of account level etc. Could be worth a try to have a look on your old system for your Rozo data file and transfer onto your new one.

If you look, when Slow was picked to be acti he killed himself. But when he mentions about killing himself is after he has fallen to his death when being a jumper.

In my opinion, both players are in the wrong; @peomnnebulous Saying "smd " to other players will not only provoke other players to strike back, but it can be seen as an insulting/disrespecting term to some. @Stu What I have seen from the screenshot is unacceptable. If it was down to me, both players would deserve a mute for a day or two, but I will let another Member/Mod take action.

@HAWSHI Our list of rules are there for a reason, and should be seen as a warning to all players. So, for bad language and insults to other players there is not really a need for a warning in game @Rami @0sjors0 With regards to the ban however, you will have to speak with @Tyrannos to get this sorted; for the future please use a communication mute/block (comms ban) for anything in the in-game chat related. Unless an admin feels the need to unblock you, you will just have to wait; you were lucky to only receive 24hrs, so I am sure you can cope with the wait. Rules are there for a reason, breaking them comes a consequence...
