hello/ I get this error when starting a dedicated server cod4x mp has stoped working i have all ports open

i have the cod4x from ninja and it shows befor the console shuts down that the server is up t date .

Also you don't give enough information:

• What is your startup line (+set dedicated 2, etc)?
• What OS are you running it on (yes Windows but what Windows)
  
• Give us a log
  
• More probably useful information

dude u think im dumb and dont know how to run servers? i use to run cod4x on windows from a file ninja gave me and after a 3 month break i diceded to start it up again on the same machine i use to run it on! whats so weird about my english ? ure trying to be funny? i dont think its funny im here to get help not to mess around with ppl like u trying to tell me my english is bad guess what!? ITS My 3thr language so p off. a

it doesnt matter on what windos os i run it its all the same so...but if u really wanna know its (windows 2008 server R2)

-in the log everything is fine (what the problem is , its staring up the server and then says codx17_dedrun has stoped working check for possible solutions)

Install MinGW with GDB on your server.

Open a new console (CMD.EXE).

"cd" into your cod4 dir.

C:\MinGW\bin\gdb.exe --args cod4x17a_dedrun.exe (all your other commandline arguments here)

When it has loaded type into it "run"

once it crashs type backtrace and make a screenshot of it so we can see.

if a server give error when loading

then try to start the server through the game, if you test work the server start as usual.

Try START server normally

Again the problem ,your files in the server not good
