C0ok1e 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2015 Hi, I just build my own Computer with a water cooling loop and wanted to know what you guys think about this and also wanted to see some other cool stuff. That's why I made this thread so everybody could post his Computer and maybe say something about it. This isn't the final build of my Computer. Still need to change some things and also change my graphicscard. Hope you guys can say something about it and maybe post your own. Current System Specs: Processor: Intel i7 4820K at a Speed of 4.7 GHz and 30°C Idle Graphicscard: Gigabyte Radeon 7870 OC at 1.1 GHz Coreclock, 4.8 GHz Memoryclock and 35°C Idle Ram: 16 gb of DDR3 Mainboard: ASUS RoG Rampage IV Fromula Ar5chK3ks
Fisher 101 Report post Posted August 1, 2015 Im going to very judgmental but first. Really good job the water loop looks amazing. The gpu offsets the colour scheme with its blue pcb so thats a problem Some red/white leds would be nice. Really clean machine tho. Good job
C0ok1e 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2015 Thanks :3 Like I said above I will change the GC(graphiccard) until I got enough money and when I got it I will also rebuild some of the tubes of my loop, so that the GC will also be included. With the white/red leds: I already have some at home that should be installed maybe next week or a bit later. Idk. I would prefer it if you have some GC sugestions. I want to go with a nvidia geforce gtx 980 ti, but I am not really sure
QueNNch 515 Report post Posted August 1, 2015 GTX 980 is a beast. If you can afford more, then get a GTX Titan. And don't get VRAM <2GB ! Also don't think about AMD CrossfireX/Nvidia SLI as they r virtually useless in the gaming department.
C0ok1e 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2015 Ty for the reply but I think a GTX 980 ti is also better than a Titan :3 Or do you mean a Titan X? If you mean a Titan X I just think thats a waste of money because you just get something like 3-8 FPS more with it for like 300€ and that is not worth :
Littlefoot 54 Report post Posted August 1, 2015 Bit of a budget PC I have, CPU: AMD-FX 6350 GPU: GTX 660 RAM: 8GB DDR3 Only costs around £300-400, pretty messy set up so I won't be posting any pics XD GTX 980 is a beast. If you can afford more, then get a GTX Titan. And don't get VRAM <2GB ! Also don't think about AMD CrossfireX/Nvidia SLI as they r virtually useless in the gaming department. Also, nice to know about the SLI, I've been wondering whether to upgrade fully or buy another 660.

Just buy a single, better card. Preferably GTX 970 being a steal nowadays. I too have a 660. I'm waiting for a new card release in September. They might just release another budget card just like they did last year with the 970 If not, the price for 970 is gonna drop anyway.

leiizko 121 Report post Posted February 10, 2018 Very bad time to buy a PC right now with RAM and GPU prices sky high and 2nd gen Ryzen CPUs and possibly Volta gaming GPUs coming out soon. You might get better PC for less money if you are willing to wait.

Not at all, in the current market it is just fine. All I'm saying is if you can wait (new stuff is rumored to release on April) you will get a better PC for the same price. 1 Wolfman reacted to this
