Hi there. I want start discussion about scopes. I think that scopes should kill obs with one tag. A lot players say about it. And it would be really great update. Say your arguments for and against and maybe Ninja or someone else will increase scope's damage.

Scopes kills with 1 shot but it has to be to the head or chest. It is not possible I think to increase the scope damage as weapons damage points comes with the mod by default and its updates, but I am not sure of this point though.

Even if I am wrong increasing its damage to kill with one shot will decrease the mods fun level as nowadays there are many players that use scope and are good at it thus the rounds will be fast and boring. By the way if you put stopping power with scope it will increase the damage so no need for the update. This is only my opinion I may be right and may be wrong.

I had my own zombie mod in cod2 and i know that owner can change everything including damage of every weapon. I use stopping power and have about 5 no-killing tags per day. I dont really like it...

There is a reason that Snakelet nerfed scopes. If close range hit would be deadly for obscurity, then eveyone would be running around with barrett, or waiting for obs to leap to kill him at close range with no-scope shot. Scopes are already as good balanced as its possible, and proper use of r700 is deadly for obs. Also I leaped a lot with feeling "He will probably hit me, but he won't kill me at 2 meters, so ATAAACK!!" (and usualy died because of noscope headshot )

I think it's perfect just the way it is, scopes are mostly 'better' players and also harder to kill

Obscuritymod is no sniper mod! Don't use sniper if it is not good enough for you.
