  3. The server has it's own kind of 'usermaps' folder, which contains all of the maps in the rotation, and other maps. The ones used in the rotation are set automatically in a preset order. The other maps which aren't in the rotation, but are still in the server files can be set by admins using the $map command. For example, mp_dr_electric is a map which is in the server files, but not in the rotation. If an admin tried to set a map like mp_dr_takeshi, which is not in the server files as far as I'm aware, the console would respond with 'Error: Can't find map mp_dr_takeshi'. This means that adding these maps would be pointless, as they wouldn't benefit the IceOps community unless those maps were also added to the server files.

    Hm? How do I do that? I read Joker's post but last time it didn't work for me, so I figured I'd just make it quicker for myself and upload it You simply right click on the demo in the demo library, click 'copy link address', then paste it into your thread. You don't need to upload it as an attachment either, you can just link it in your report.

    Well first of all I only saw Wallhack in this demo, not Aimbot or No Recoil. Nevertheless that's enough for a permban, I'll do it now EDIT: Don't have enough pp on non-cod4x servers to permban. Gave him a 30d temp, and a perm on cod4x servers. Also, you can just copy/paste the link to the demo here in future, no need to upload it to a filesharing site.

    I think the longest secret is the one on apollo, and everyone knows how to get into that one. Can't see any harm him showcasing all the map secrets; if we dont broadcast the videos it's unlikely that everyone in the community will see them. Also @Ar5chK3ks it would probably gain you a good few views on YouTube - I don't think anyone has done COD4 DeathRun secret tutorials.
  14. Installed it on my laptop in case there was any bugs; don't want them on my PC. Update downloaded, went to install and crashed. Had to force restart the laptop, and the second download failed. The third download was successful though, as was the install. Windows 10 is up and running now though. Haven't had enough time to test all the features yet though, but it looks like it's made for a tablet.

    Well I WELCOME (see what I did there?) the use of that plugin Well that's a shame We need a surefire way to increase the appeal to activate aggressively though; maybe a way to give the activator xp everytime a jumper dies (excluding freerun rounds)? We could, but I don't want to create an atmosphere that is non-fun, and I think if we're too strict it will deter people from playing on our servers. However, this could be voted on, as some people may welcome this as a positive thing

    Perhaps just allow admins to open votes (so an admin executes command mid game and then after the map is finished, it opens the vote gui)? Admins already open up votes though. We ask what map people want (usually ones that aren't in rotation, hence are never played) and set it if everyone is ok with it.

    Suggestions -remove map voting system (obvious reasons) -remove any broken maps from rotation (eg. wipeoutv1) -add new sprays (if possible?) -make menu screen (ESC) fit entire screen in width (just an aesthetics suggestion) -make it so that jumpers gain a small amount of xp for passing an activated trap (say, 5xp - encourages activating) -make it +50xp per trap activated (incentive for activating) -make it +100xp per trap kill (even bigger incentive to activate aggressively) -increase sniper ADS speed (PLEASE don't increase hipfire accuracy) -remove activator gaining xp for jumper deaths in freerun (this doesn't make sense, and encourages freerun) **alternatively, remove freerun (this should be put to a vote in my opinion) -add extra lives for Jumpers who kill the activator (why has this been taken out?) -add counter for remaining jumpers alive -add the Welcome message in the chat when a player joins the server -maybe add a system which forms a queue based on the finishing time for each player, meaning the fastest can enter the room without having other players jump in front of them (solves the "no respect" problem) Bugs -activator gaining (x amount)xp for activating traps isn't working -activator gaining (x amount)xp for killing jumpers with traps isn't working -on the map 'detained', the final trap still worked even though 'FreeRun' had been initiated -server crashed loading maps 'iceops' and 'blue'
