I got accepted back in under the reason that I would be active in-game too,

and I can't furfill that promise because COD4 is not fun anymore for me.

Well, down that is a completely untrue statement. I always see a member on the servers and especially with the new KTK I see most members on there. Even Ninja was playing at one point. Just because you don't play on the servers don't speak for the rest of us.

They're forcing themselves to play, if you're playing a game which isn't fun for you you're gonna end up quiting soon.

I wouldn't be suprised that in a few weeks the KTK server is empty, because it's a mod

that's fun to play for a small amout of time, it's gonna get boring sooner or later.

Arma2 server is down because no one played on this. And I really mean no one within 8 days. That it eats a lot of resources is a 2nd point but not the main reason it is stopped.

Well it was a bit to late for an Arma 2 DayZ server. Most people already switched to Arma 3 (dayz, Altis life etc) / DayZ SA / H1Z1 etc...

And its hard to get people playing on your server because the most that still play it join the popular servers. You need some advertisement for your server, good server scripts and all that.

But well, DayZ mod is still the best of all. Played it so much <3

We had the scripts but there was no competition so no one played on it.

Scripts weren't that good either as the server was down 25% of the time due admins crashin it

No actully I don't get them from pirate bay or any online site cuz we don't have here credit cards or banks to put money online...

It was clearly just rebuttals to what down was saying and now it seems as if im the only one who contributed to this argument so why dont you get what down said? You cant be biased if your and admin. I was recently playing a game and and having a normal conversation that turned into an argument and IceOps|Down kept arguing with me after i joined back and he was being disrespectful and not treating me equally and calling me a little kid and would just like to let the admins know that Down wasnt doing his job very well by banning me just because he knew he was wrong and he was being abusive and unfair with his powers. Just letting everyone know

I do have a few screeshots, I banned you for 3 hours because you obviously lost your cool.

I dont feel like starting a chat with someone who's too mad to have a decent chat with.

This started out with Cheese asking why there's a swearing barrier because he thinks it's fun to swear.

I told him the reason, as it's a very obvious reason it did not seemed to reach him and thus kept going on that.

As the time went by this had started getting an arguement, but I didnt really care nor paid attention to him

His Guildy also got into it somehow because he also thought it's stupid to censor swear words,

as I told him the same reason, Cheese joined (He left for 2 minutes) and ofcourse he joins in again.

He blamed me for not letting the arguement lie not knowing that (His guildy) brought up the arguement again.

Thus kept saying he would get more accomplishment in his life, and calling me a kid.

Ofcourse I did call him immature at some point and I guess that was the trigger.

After hearing enough about me being a ''failure'' I banned him for 3 hours,

Honestly if I were in a bad mood it would've been a little longer so be happy Cheese.

Alright, we all know that Deathrun is Indeed one of our populated mods at this moment.

Still the head-admins are not really interested in updating the mod though,

I know it requires alot of work, but you'll gain more players by doing so.

My first suggestion is to bring calling a free-run back into the mod,

This is orginally placed in there to give the activators a chance to knife them,

as most of the people shoot nowadays and with plus-minus 20 players shooting on you

It's pretty much impossible to get a kill.

Also the reason why the freerun got removed is due people calling a freerun yet they could still activate.

But it's possible to fix it, and I believe it's still an improvement.

Funny fact is that i did activate the Free run option for 1h in our 1.2 server the other day. Most player didint like it. I also do vote agaisnt with probably a few players in the server.

''Few players'' wouldnt be suprised if it's 4 people you're talking about.

But no matter, I know for instance that the ''oldschool'' players would like to see this option back.

Ofcourse the ''new generation'' isn't used to having a freerun and will disagree with it regardless.

This has been a long long debate in the past, and the response from the community was to get rid of freerun, as clearly it encourages players to play without traps. You might know the common trend in the mod in the past: "free for sniper". That's bull, because most maps without traps are nothing.

Even BraXi agreed with it (along with most of the community on the braxi.org) and because of this preference, braxi removed freerun from version 1.3

That's THEIR opinion, not the player's opinion.

I bet I can guarantee that 80% of the players agree with enabling it again.

The other 20% are the ones who made the mod,

and braxi herself hates deathrun all together so counting her opinion is bs

We could make a rule in which people cant call freerun without choosing it at the start.

Well Raid doesn't use 1.3 its a custom mod made by lossy I believe.

NNJ has told me that he is currently working on a custom deathrun mod but i assume it would take awhile because it is very hard to do.

And I agree with having a person to get new maps.

They disabled calling a free-run it's there but it's disabled.

They should enable it again, because I miss the feeling of killing 8 persons with a knife as activator without having to worry about getting shot

and so do many others.

3. As far i know 1.3 is not an official update Of braxi, ppl who have that version just modifed the 1.2.

4. Some plugin like Shop

I dont find shop necerssary, as it just allows you to buy upgrades.

As for the 1.3, like I said it didnt got publicly released, but it's still there regardless if it's released or not.
