Lossy I was never intended to add Ninja and TheKelm's name on my git repos readme. That was just a thought of mine that it will solve the problem. When NNJ and TheKelm contacted me on xFire i felt bad that someone might have copy there work. But after there stupid behavior I got to know that I along with my team haven't done any mistake at all. But to keep them good and calm I put Ninja and TheKelm's name there. And lossy as you cut macarov's name that wasn't true at all. The repo has contribution from macarov too. He build the updater for the repo. But for the latest version of that repo I am gonna cut Ninja and TheKelm's name from there.

What happened if I use the CoD4X name in my own project? And for your kind information my project name is CoD4X18 not only CoD4X because it is copyrighted by you guys. Actually the matter is you guys were so proud of your work and were jealous if might someone goes to that level.

Actually you are such a dumb NNJ. The cod4x17a is also licensed under GNU Affero Public license...so the same rules applies to it too? :3

I wasn't begging for help here. The forums is used by many other good members and also other good members of iceops. And I didn't told anywhere that I don't like iceops. The really don't like the stupid dumb headed NNJ and TheKelm of iceops. Ninja is pretty good with me. I just told the fact that there is nothing the iceops would hate me for. I didn't do anything wrong. I just started my own cod4x 18 repo. Still there is a thing that the repos weren't started by me. It was started in the name of me by some of my known people. But the behavior of NNJ and TheKelm (The mean guy) made me to take over those repos and I will continue to manage those repos as long as I can. Because I don't see any copyright violation there and if those dumb heads see any violation then report it to github. I will handle the reset.

And I also want to say something on raydvard's note that yes he is my friend and he didn't ask any kind of help @stupid NNJ. He just reported an issue with your own cod4x17a_testing git repo. Which will never help him at all. That will help you guys to solve that bug with the cod4x17a

NNJ your such a lame person i think. You guys neither ninja own cod4 version 1.8 and don't have any right to publish cod4x 1.8 . We preserved the 1.8 and that's why you guys felt jealous of everything. Ninja and TheKelm only owns CoD4X 17a repo. We licensed our 1.8 version and you guys started to work on 1.8 protocols and still we haven't said anything to you guys. So this means that you guys have no respect for license. We will never remove those repos as those repos are under our license and also github allows us to use those repos. If you have any issue with those repos then report to github. As a logical sense I can tell you that you guys don't have any right on CoD4X18 because I invented that thing. You guys never invented 1.8 . You guys were working on 1.7a . So there is no point of doing such coward works. NNJ if you trust your work then why you are so afraid of some other repos??? Do you think they will take down your noob work??? And about my anti cheat project it is totally a project made by my own developers group and if you publish it on github I will surely report it to them under the laws of copyright violation. Some of them are too expert. They will easily bind that again. Yesterday in our LAN tournament I saw something amazing. Someone has replaced the game crack iw3mp.exe and he got to see a transparent smoke in-game. Researching on the crack and will also provide it to Ninja for checking.

You can simply get the gameranger plugin download link from ninja. But it is a paid plugin for which you have to pay $4/month

You need a little bit of promod scripting if you want to make your server a public server. In case you want your server to be a match server you can use the promod command to disable any punkbuster violation error : /promod_mode knockout_mr12_pb

For running the mod with your game server add this command to your server starting command line. +set fs_game mods/pml220 And if it keep awaiting connection. Then you could try putting this command in your server.cfg : sv_authorizemode 0

This file is not a 250MB file and it is also not a normal patch. It is the cod4x 1.7a compiled linux binary.

Yes of course... WinSCP is a GUI Application with multi-threading facility. You will be able to do whatever you want easily with WinSCP. Also it will not usually get freeze....

why you want to upload the promod to the root folder??? You need to upload promod to the mods folder of your game. You can host multiple servers using the linux server run command screen. This way if you run multiple server, all the servers will use only one copy of cod4 installation. But this would be not a good way. The good way to make multiple copies of the cod4 installation and run multiple servers with screen. If your having trouble uploading the files to your server then you can use WinSCP software for simple sftp upload.

Hey NNJ my link wasn't an unofficial one...The link I provided is directly compiled from Ninja's current github source and I uploaded in website and provided the link on my reply in this post... So {cool.G} ingre you can also use the download link provided by me.. And {cool.G} ingre why are you complicating the things... Don't confuse yourself.... Just download the dedrun exe file and paste it in your CoD4 installation directory and make a shortcut of the dedrun exe file in your desktop. Then go to the shortcut properties and use your server commands or execute your server cfg file using +exex name.cfg Happy Gaming

Hello {cool.G} ingre, It is possible to run CoD4X in Windows but for that you have to compile it from it's github source. Don't know that haven't ninja uploaded the compiled one to iceops.in or not. Port Conflict

First of all as you want to show your server on the non-modded category of cod4 master server you have to add a command to your server.cfg file which is: set sv_authorizemode 0 and set sv_showasranked 1 Next you want to add server messages like !rules or greet player on player connect. For this you can use the cod4x default admin system which can be activated by command: set g_disabledefcmdprefix 0 Then you want to restrict the perks and weapons. For this you have to run a custom or already made mods like modwarfare etc. with your server. For custom mod according to your requirement will need to make a custom script file and run it by keeping it on the mods folder. In this way the script wouldn't need to be downloaded by other players too. Number 3, you want to add final game and round winning killcams. Actually you mean to say you want to add finalkillcam script to the server. For this you have to add the final kill cam custom script to your mods folder for it to execute. If you want I can provide you the normal final killcam script. The thing you tried is to loadplugin in your server.cfg which would not be possible. The loadplugin command is used for the plugins made using cod4x plugin handler and written in simple C or C++ But the cod4 scripting is base on gsc coding and that cannot be done with the cod4x plugin handler easily. Better you do it with the modding facility of COD4MW. Don't mess up your cod4 installation directory with plugins or other folders or by editing any localized iwd file of the main folder. Yes your in the right forum....ninja made the gameranger plugin...but unfortunately it is paid. Ninja love to provide us the paid gameranger plugin. But why you asked in this forum about the grplugin??the iceops are so strict and they will ask you to find the grplugin yourself as god have given you eyes to search and hand to navigate through your browser. Ninja always said "This Is How World Works"

Hello there, You are using a too advanced build I think. Use a build which comes normally with the auto update feature of the cod4x17a_dedrun.....By the way I never had this problem with this build....can you please post your commands which you use to start the server??
