Yes it is the CPU. I can't upgrade that as well. I would need a very high clocked dual core CPU it seems. CPU load always around 45% of all four cores together. As it was even before far from 100% it did let me think the video card is keeping fps down. My FPS are most times around 30. The game is Arma3. GPU usage is most of the time at 30%...

So I got my new video card. Result: Same shitty low fps in target game as before. Just the quality improves to max.

Well that is really entry level. Even new Intel integrated GPUs could compete against it I assume.

The upgrade from a GTX660 to GTX960 is not much worth (X1.5 performance). But my HD4870 is a lot slower than a GTX960. Also my screen needs displayport which my HD4870 does not have for full resolution and additionally all newer games demanding Direct3D11 won't run. For me it must be more than double performance that I'd even think about it.

Well in truth you don't use 500W only because your PSU claims it could deliver it on demand. Just under full load you will use the amount your hardware can drain. In old times you did indeed always drain the maximum amount of power if your system was idle or not. So don't take me too seriously in that point.

500watt? Quite high operating costs. But you all don't have to pay them on your own, right? Tell your parents your PC costs 1 to 2€ electricity every day. I guess they aren't so happy about it. Anyway hard to fully utilize a 500Watt PSU with one CPU and 1 video adapter. Upgrading doesn't mean in every case you have a higher power usage. I ordered for example a GPU which will be around 4 times faster than my old one and it will take only 120Watt compared to 180Watt. Btw. I have a 550Watt PSU. Just for the case I want 2 GPUs which will never happen.

We can't have ranked servers as well. In CoD4 people are mostly interested into ranked servers. I assume it will be same here. So Idk how useful a server would be at least atm. Are unranked servers available for download already? Also my PC can not run this game as well because RAM and Video Adapter requirements.

I'm not smart about CoD4 scripting. So don't expect help from me. Also plenty admins have installed the servermodification I developed. Isn't that already enough help from our side that everyone can use it?

I don't think I can download any of this stuff yet. Before this moment I believe nothing. Also someone should confirm how well this is going to work I assume.
