That's what I was looking at to upgrade from a 660, but I'm most likely to save up for a 970 seeing as there's a much bigger gap between the gtx 660 and 970. I have a 660 too And I'm looking at a 970 too!

Wow I did not know that! This is amazing news, even if the beta wasn't anything too impressive I'll still be looking forward to the game. There's one issue though, in the beta my PC couldn't manage a stable, playable fps even on medium settings, so I hope it's optimised at launch or at least soon after. (I'm on a Core i7 3rd-Gen with a GTX 660 1.5GB) Dedicated servers might finally be a reason for us to move on from CoD4 ?

I had windows 8.1. In order to get the Windows Upgrade Icon I had to manually make sure all updates were installed. Finally when I got the icon I started the setup chose to keep everything. All went smoothly and works just fine. I have noticed a considerable improvement in multi tasking especially when gaming. However I get 1 really annoying bug. My start menu and cortana stop working randomly and it's frustrating when I need to search and launch a program from there! If u put this 1 bug to the side, the upgrade was worth it. EDIT: I'll add another Windows 8 Laptop Updates were not working and always failed to install, so I couldn't even upgrade to windows 8.1 in the first place. I had to make a bootable USB stick for windows 10 and work my way through there. Windows finally installed but the laptop was low spec so it runs reeeeeally bad on it. Not worth it tbh.

Well, you told me you had a very good proof, you can't proof that she was cheating, if you ban someone and tell to someone else you have a very good proof, you supossed to have it on the cod4 folder, not just go and delete it, that's not fair. Blandum both of the cards you're looking at for nvidia and AMD perform identical. Its up to you really, won't make much of a difference. If you go for the AMD card then make sure to add/change your PC fans to ensure good cooling. Also use MSi afterburner to increase your fan speed curve, just to be safe

No recoil means your weapon/camera wasn't bobbing when you shot. Its nothing to do with you having 8 kills. Let's see what the admin that banned you has to say about it.

Agree^^ MSi has a good reputation these days Selling a lot That's good but CoD4 is relatively old (release 2007), and the 750ti was released 2014. The card is very good if someone is on a budget but we wanna make sure it runs the newest games. I'm sure it will provide a playable FPS though

EVGA is cheap but I've heard that its not as good as its competitors in terms of cooling. Seems you have a bad cooling problem anyway, try to look for cards with better/multiple fans Best idea is to google the comparisons of these different manufacturers.

Oh I see, well 750ti will be a slower card but can manage to run most games at playable frames. Make sure you buy at least a 2GB card^^

Blandum, the best idea would be to find benchmarks of the cards and compare the fps they achieve on different games These numbers in the specifications might not tell the whole story, and only a well experienced person can judge accurately. Even I'm confused between those two Google is your friend

Oh yes? I was searching 256 bit because some users say that 256 is better for games, isn't it? Yes, 256 bit is supposed to be faster but I would still buy the GTX 950, probably because its nvidia and that company makes quality stuff. To be honest the difference is not huge, so its up to you.

An AMD Card, knew it I've heard more than one stories of AMD Cards behaving weirdly/burning. So, I also looked at the R7 370 which also perfectly fits in your budget (in fact it costs the same as GTX 950) which is 170 EURO. I recommend the Nvidia GTX 950 2GB, compared to AMD R7 370 2GB: PS: Ignore the Memory bus 256 or 128 bit. They are just channels, which means they show how wide the memory bus is. What you should really be looking at is the Memory Bandwidth, which is the memory clock speed in this snapshot^^
