Fps switching bind? I guess com_maxfps becoming cheat protected

Better to just fix fps affecting movement speed / jumping height etc. If I'm not wrong, it's a matter of changing one variable from being an integer to a floating point number.

Oldschool deathruns: Runners try to get to the activator's room through some traps while the activator waits for them to activate.

I would NOT punish who camp at traps; doesn't ask/listen to the activator's wish room; jumps on a block that is so obviously clear to jump on and etc. It doesn't mean they're exploiting if they're doing something you don't like or you can't do. Just think widely and decide.

Someone can't do bounces

The problem is not with bounces. The problem is the fact that you need to know the map before playing it, and not "know" like in play a few times. Know as in other people told you which bind to use where or you've spent hours and hours trying. Every single time someone pushes me into those discussions it ends in an argument. Funnily enough, the only point they always make is "SCREW YOU I LIKE MY BOUNCES" against my multiple well explained points and still, I am the one who can't listen or argument properly. Paints a nice picture...

The real problem here is a philosophical one. Also, there are actually three problems here instead of one:

- What is the point of deathrun when there are no traps / traps are not being activated / traps can be skipped entirely?

- Why do mappers not test their maps and even after a flaw is detected - it's never fixed?

The first one will angry the wannabe MLGs with their penis-enlarging fps switch binds. The other one make lazy mappers furious (and that's like 99% of DR mappers). Usually I'd be sad for making people angry, but when looking at those groups I'd rather piss them off a bit more every now and then

There are more things wrong about the current deathrun community but this is neither a time nor place for my whining so I'll spare you... For now.

When you enter prestige one you can choose an equiment. I've choosen grenade. But it does not give me anny grenades.

could be settings or somthing configured that the mod sometimes dont like. i dont know i am not a pro at finding bugs that dosnt happen to me

Could this be a controls issue? I know the default key for melee is V, but I use MMB. This wouldn't explain the sprint issue though

It just sucks when you're the King and you get gangraped just because you can't sprint to cover.

I use the defaults and it still happens. You don't need to reconnect or anything, as Joker said, you just have to play like that a bit and it will go away (although one might prefer to reconnect since not being able to sprint and / or knife is very annoying)

No, the map is glitched much like Glass3. You can shoot through that wall and kill the activator.

Well, CS:GO is not only competetive. We could, for example, make an aim server. It's fun to play, even if all you do is play competetive (everyone needs a warmup, right?). Kinda needs admins because of voice chat, but even without any it's pretty much fine. Another idea is a surf server. Not really a warmup before competetive but again, fun to play.

The reason our previous CS:GO server was such a failure is because it was the 'standard' mode (community competetive if I remember right) which is simply inferior compared to matchmaking.

I think that it would be really good if IceOps included some commands where you can contact the admins/moderators really quickly but the only problem would be like @Lookout said:

For example, "ah this map is boring, let's call an admin."

It could be really over used and some people would just spam it.

Then we could ban the abuser. The angrier the admins are because of the spam, the longer the ban

We are very excited to say that a new era of IceOps is finally here. What changed? Quite a bit, there is a list below, it's effective immediately. That is, when we have time to actually do stuff.

1. We are no longer interested in any of the games we used to play or host.

2. We are moving to a BRAND NEW, EXCITING GAME that should really make IceOps shine again: Secret of the Magic Crystals. The game itself doesn't contain a multiplayer but we are already testing a beta SotMCX custom server. Also, come on, who needs a multiplayer when there is a DRESS UP DLC AVAILABLE! New game servers should be up in no time

Due to the changes we modified the forums list. Old, useless forums about CoD4, GMod etc had been marked for permanent deletion, they should disappear on the next dedi restart, for ever.

If I have my not higher then my shoulder I feel no pain. Sometimes I do but then I've worken or used it much. Because that band supposed to hold my arm in. But it's roomier so it will

pop out easyer. But when I've had my operation I will not be able to play cod for 6 weeks. i will be on the forum but I will say it when the operation has been done.

Buy one of those mouses Razer has that has like 12 buttons and play with that only, with whichever arm you have healthy

Try installing a different driver version. I remember when I had an ATI card the struggle to get the correct driver was real (some caused terrible performance, some caused weird bugs, some others made my PC BSOD every now and then). From what I've heard they didnt improve much in their drivers depertment unfortunately

I have came across this problem this morning and i have been trying to fix it all day.

I went to launch cod this morning and when cod loaded like it all ways does with out a fault, my mouse isent showing. I can't see it, I can't move it and I can't click or do anything with it so the only way I can join a game is by doing /connect. But even when i do that I can't choose class or team or what ever the mod is to achually play.

I took the game of my pc and instaled it back on but that did nothing at all.

I really hope there is a solution to this problem and i thank you all in advanced for helping

Hello, today I got banned by chair for no reason in the iceops deathrun server 2. He just isn't capable of thinking straight, so he bans me for nothing. I have multiple demo's of Chair banning and kicking innocent people aswell, if you are interested in them, you can PM me . Chair is the worst admin I have ever seen in my life on any server I have ever played on ever. He kicks/bans who he wants to, even doesn't kick/ban people when they are his friend. This should not be how admins perform, yet it is how he performs.

I think Chair may be suffering from lonelyness/limited number of friends in real life/no love from parents, or all together. This can have big impact on his behavior in game, especailly with the status of an admin. Because now HE is the boss and HE decides what happens to people, instead of people bringing him down bullying him or his parents abusing him both verbally and physically. I feel bad for you Chair, but don't release all your inner anger on innocent people, get help for your personal problems!

I highly recommend the other admins to test Chair's capability of being an admin, also show some interest in his personal life because he is clearly suffering from a lot of pain, poor guy .

Regarding me, I'm not even appealing a ban because I will never come back to a server where the system is corrupt and the admins do as they like with no consequences. Have fun with your community, I'm sure you will because you fit with it. I don't fit in it. I like servers where everyone is chill, and admins stick to a clear protocol that. Where every admin would punish someone for the exact same reason for the exact same amount of time.

Goodbye IceOps, and Chair, I truly hope you fix your real life problems, we've all had our hard times bro, don't give up!!
