If it is the AVG causing the problem, then you might have to allow or put certain ips/ports in the exception list (somewhere in the settings). If it's not, then what does the error message exactly say?

Let me bumb this and promote Obscurity a little Joke aside, just wanted to revisit these awesome tutorials. A friend of mine was yesterday over and I showed him the mod, he finally understood.... xD Again, great job well done.

Sad to see you are still going on bullying Ninja although you were warned many times by the other members to stop it. I don't know what happened to you, but this needs to stop and I am putting an end to this, now. Besides the bad nazi jokes, forwarding bullying messages from Lawke, encouraging your "banter" comparing Ninja to an amok-person, you now crossed serveral lines with the latest chatbox messages (which of course have been deleted). You not only used another account in order to do so (thus, getting a fellow member in trouble), you also evaded your ban in this way, which we all know, is equal to a permanent ban. However, the main issue is the constant bullying of Ninja. This is also a final warning to all others out there. One more incident on bullying Ninja or any other person for that matter, will be permanently banned everywhere without a warning. So choose your words carefully in the future. Also, letting others the opportunity to use your account in any way, you'll be hold responsible for the actions that other person using your account did. @Chrono has been warned.

Hello Everyone, it’s time for some change again, since the current organizational structure does not reflect how it really is anymore. Therefore, we want to try something new in order to adapt to this situation. So the new structure of the IceOps-Ranks and their according duties will be as follows: Members Stay the same, participation and involvement within IceOps. Head Member - Keep forum clean - Keep an eye out for things - Handling smaller disputes (for example ban appeals) - Giving power to new members - Control / Check on Members and Mentors - Keeping the information flow going (reporting) Administrator - Server realization, updates and maintance - Accepting / Denying Server Moderator Applications - Increasing/decreasing power of members - Update and maintain the forum - Control / Check on Lead/Head Members and regular Members - Keeping the information flow going (reporting) Leaders - Accepting / Denying Member Applications - Promoting/Demoting of members to higher/lower 'level/rank'. - Overwatch of the IceOps-Staff - In charge to decide on big changes, cooperations, rules & conduct, structual/organizational changes to IceOps, etc. - Introducing new things and making the announcements (in accordance with the IceOps-Staff) - Community Management alongside with Head Members This will be first a trial run over the next few weeks. If it turns out to be great and working, we’ll keep it. If not, we’ll go back to the old way (current system). This is just a structural change, we still are one team, one IceOps. Do not forget this. The group of Clan Leader will be filled by me for the time being, until the member(s) for this group is (are) determined. Meanwhile I’ll fill in the blank. Members please go here for more information and to vote/follow: An announcement on what the Clan has decided will follow soon. Regardless of which system will prove steady, the following members are promoted and going to join the Administration Group: Mc. Joker and Scott Thank you guys for your hard work and needless to say: well deserved! Keep on going like this; you are very valuable to IceOps and I am proud to promote you guys! My best, Lookout

Dear IceOps, our Clan has decided on (one) Clan Leader so far who will join the Clan Leaders Group: Lookout! Thanks for your votes, trust and followship. They are really appreciated and I am looking forward to still work with all you guys in the future As a result, I will now follow my duties since it's time to clean things up within IceOps which have been negleted for some time. For more information on what is yet to come, see my comming posts Happy Gaming!

Finally someone having some insight here...., he he he

Basically Prime knows this and just assumed and went ahead. I do not see any real harm here done, except for bugging. We'll take it from here. Sorry for the inconvenience. Next time Prime will definetly ask the players first if they don't mind. - The IceOps-Staff

Sometimes more information is necessary in order to determine the right ban, like for example if you did this before. I don't know why you are so upset about being muted. Back in the days it would have been a temporary ban which is way worse. There is also no problem for you to get their skype/steam if needed. If there is, then you can contact them next week. Ban stays. Case closed.

I can confirm his workload. Give him some space xD

I do believe on banaphone it's pretty silly to skip that map so fast. Joe assumed you knew it was against the rules and acted accordingly. He will warn the people first, it was an honest mistake. However, you still broke the rules and are therefore banned to 1 day, which is in two and a half hours. That's fair enough for both parties to continue happy gaming. - Case Closed -

A 3 day ban is still, too long givin that there is no prior offence. Please consider this next time. Wanted to know the admins reasoning. That's all
-
I would like to hear from the admin on this who banned him.

Hello dear Community, our beloved friend and admin Ninja decided to take some time off in order to enjoy the Clan as a regular member and have fun with you guys. This is no goodbye for good, rather a playing-vacation and to be off duty for once. So please welcome our oldest member and founder of IceOps to the member group. How long this will be the case is not certain nor indefinite. However, and of course obvious, you are always welcome to rejoin the admin-group as soon as you feel like it again. He generously offered me his councel and feedback during his abscence in the admin group which is really appreciated. Thank you Ninja for everything you did so far. I can't mention everything you did, because it's simply waaaay toooo much. I can speak for the whole community when I say: My deepest respect for your work and am glad that you still stick around! Have fun playing and interacting with the Clan as a normal member! My Best, Lookout P.S.: This also might mean some restructuring of IceOps needs to be done which you will hear from me in a seperate post when things are settled.

Cool man. Is it possible to show the IceOps-Staff and members seperatevily? I have some Ideas in mind...

Hello everyone, I've just noticed we didn't have a group in Steam for the hole community. Well, this obviously was necessary and is available to ALL people within this community. You can join the group here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/IceOpsCommunity Thanks @Scott for creating the group. Happy Gaming!!! - The IceOps-Staff
-
IceCommunity or ColdOps maybe?
-
Found some synonyms if someone likes this more than "community": IceOps / Ice... - Tribe - Society - Republic (lol) - Nation - Civilisation / Commonwealth - League - Union - Fellowship
-
Gaming events of course. Best example GamesCom

Unfortunately, I have to correct you here: First, we do not have sufficient proof. Second, since when do players need to proove their innocence? We have to proove their wrong doing. Period. "You are innocient until prooven guilty." Always has been like that and still is.

Ban won't be lifted. If I had a little brother, I would make sure of it he can't access my computer (duh, righ? I know...). Hope you didn't have facebook open, when he uses such a kind of language. -Closed.

Hello everyone, we want to introduce a new award system, for our loyal and hard working community-members. It includes levels, meaning the more you accomplish in the specific fields, the greater the award So far, those fields are: Reporting Players, Community Support and V.I.P.'s. We would like start off awarding two players, who help keeping our servers clean from hackers: @demonz(forgototheraccpass) @PT_Sam Thank you guys for your help and keep up the good work!!! The IceOps-Staff (You can check the award by visiting their profiles.)

Same here. Thanks for the report. Any member feel free to take care of this.

Any member please ban this guy 3 days. Thanks. Can't do it myself since pc down

I don't want to join the discussion about the definitions of hacks. Screenshots clearly show an unfair advantage, may it be fullbright or using skins. Kenai's decision is right and won't be changed.
