KakashiOfKonoha 49 Report post Posted August 10, 2016 So there can be a lot of advertisement as some people like to advertise which causes spam and other stuff. I used to play in a SA-MP server where whenever someone typed any IP it changed to the servers IP they are on. This could really stop advertising. 2 aEoNNzR- and Thunder:) reacted to this

HydroxZ95 80 Report post Posted August 10, 2016 This would work as the censorism mechanism, it could be implementable but you have to ask to those with permissions to edit the mod
Guest Report post Posted August 10, 2016 Best thing is it's not hard to make. Just making sure the script works. So if someone types *.com / .net .whatever then it makes sure it is iceops releated. If not it changes *.whatever to iceops.whatever (whatever = the domain ending .net .com)
Guest Report post Posted August 10, 2016 @HydroxZ95 It's not hard at all. Decompling the .ff file Edit any necessary .gsc file(s) Re-compile back to .ff Upload it to download server meaning you don't have to worry about downloading it manually.

aEoNNzR- 15 Report post Posted August 11, 2016 Kakashi I think it is a good idea If at anytime xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:yyyyy is typed into the chat, where x can be a length of 1-3 and y can be length of 1-5, then it could be changed to a random IceOps ip, therefore server ip's wouldn't be possibly posted on the server anymore, except for IceOps ip's. Also there would need to be made exceptions for the iceops ip's, which could be done by a simple if statement with all the iceops ip's.
