Hello everyone, IceOps has an amazing gift for you this Christmas; The return of Deathrun. IP=176.31.25.80:28981 Yes, Deathrun is back! Last week the staff of IceOps did their best to ensure that our server is running perfectly. We edited and updated our server where it was needed. And for now; the server is running fine. The cooling down time is over, and we can aim to a fresh and new start with the all of you! So tell your friends, because IceOps Deathrun is back. But, to prevent the previous situations to happen again, I was forced to update several rules. The last time we ran the Deathrun server thing got way too out of hand. People began to behave childish, we even had people bullying and disrespecting other players. This is NOT something we stand for and support in our servers. So let this be clear, if it will happen again, we will take hard action/punishments without exceptions. The rules have been updated and sorted in 3 categories: - Cat 1: Small offenses, Temporarily *like glitching etc. (Rule 1,4,5,7,9/Rules Deathrun 1,2,3,4) - Cat 2: Medium offenses,Extended temporarily *like swearing, childish behavior, repeating previous violations.(Rule 4,5) - Cat 3: High offenses: Permanent, *like racism, hacking, sexism etc. (Rule 3,8) Let this all be clear for you all, and do not make us to do the same again. Hopefully the new rules for Deathrun are clear to everyone. Furthermore, i would like to wish in behalf of the complete IceOps staff everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!

Hello Everyone, it’s time for some change again, since the current organizational structure does not reflect how it really is anymore. Therefore, we want to try something new in order to adapt to this situation. So the new structure of the IceOps-Ranks and their according duties will be as follows: Members Stay the same, participation and involvement within IceOps. Head Member - Keep forum clean - Keep an eye out for things - Handling smaller disputes (for example ban appeals) - Giving power to new members - Control / Check on Members and Mentors - Keeping the information flow going (reporting) Administrator - Server realization, updates and maintance - Accepting / Denying Server Moderator Applications - Increasing/decreasing power of members - Update and maintain the forum - Control / Check on Lead/Head Members and regular Members - Keeping the information flow going (reporting) Leaders - Accepting / Denying Member Applications - Promoting/Demoting of members to higher/lower 'level/rank'. - Overwatch of the IceOps-Staff - In charge to decide on big changes, cooperations, rules & conduct, structual/organizational changes to IceOps, etc. - Introducing new things and making the announcements (in accordance with the IceOps-Staff) - Community Management alongside with Head Members This will be first a trial run over the next few weeks. If it turns out to be great and working, we’ll keep it. If not, we’ll go back to the old way (current system). This is just a structural change, we still are one team, one IceOps. Do not forget this. Sad to see you are still going on bullying Ninja although you were warned many times by the other members to stop it. I don't know what happened to you, but this needs to stop and I am putting an end to this, now. Besides the bad nazi jokes, forwarding bullying messages from Lawke, encouraging your "banter" comparing Ninja to an amok-person, you now crossed serveral lines with the latest chatbox messages (which of course have been deleted). You not only used another account in order to do so (thus, getting a fellow member in trouble), you also evaded your ban in this way, which we all know, is equal to a permanent ban. However, the main issue is the constant bullying of Ninja. This is also a final warning to all others out there. One more incident on bullying Ninja or any other person for that matter, will be permanently banned everywhere without a warning. So choose your words carefully in the future. Also, letting others the opportunity to use your account in any way, you'll be hold responsible for the actions that other person using your account did. @Chrono has been warned.

I would like to introduce you to the new group of "Trial-ServerModerator". Where Accepted Candidates for Server Moderator would be set for a trial of 1 month. The Reruit will be mentored by 2 candidates (volunteers) for that period of time. They will need to Read and learn how to use our system, the Mentor will be there to help about questions (if the Mentor dosnt know the Answer or if they are not online then they can ask somebody else) They will need to do the exact same duty as the ServerModerators group but will be mentored and watched closely.

Hello dear Community, our beloved friend and admin Ninja decided to take some time off in order to enjoy the Clan as a regular member and have fun with you guys. This is no goodbye for good, rather a playing-vacation and to be off duty for once. So please welcome our oldest member and founder of IceOps to the member group. How long this will be the case is not certain nor indefinite. However, and of course obvious, you are always welcome to rejoin the admin-group as soon as you feel like it again. He generously offered me his councel and feedback during his abscence in the admin group which is really appreciated. Thank you Ninja for everything you did so far. I can't mention everything you did, because it's simply waaaay toooo much. I can speak for the whole community when I say: My deepest respect for your work and am glad that you still stick around! Have fun playing and interacting with the Clan as a normal member! As of recent Deathrun 1.2 has been relocated to another clan and for the same reason, Deathrun 1.3 will now have a cooldown in which the server will be down. Don't worry, during this cooldown I will make changes and updates to the server so it will no longer be a TEST server. This will include: - Fov scale Choice - New Maps - Image Updates - Moved over to main server So for all our dedicated players we hope to see you on the server at a later date. When it will be back.

To be honest. I think we should get the old server back that we lent to them and restart dr as IceOps has really just literary died since then...

Tbh, I do not see why so many people are that fussed about 4x3 taking over the Deathrun server; it is the same server, run by people who the players are familiar with. A lot of the old members who joined for deathrun in the first place have the option to, and are in fact going to be moderating for the new server, and it will be all the same old players who played on IceOps. So it is not like it is a completely new server... People really need to grow up, and accept the fact the server is now under a different name, and stop b*tching about the whole situation! IceOps is working alongside 4x3, so the communities are going to interlink anyway; collaborating with 4x3 will only mean that we have the opportunity to bring in a whole lot of new players, to both communities. People have said recently that the community is 'dying', but this could be the beginning of a new chapter for us, and for 4x3. So please, for the love of God, just try and accept the fact that 4x3 is working with us, and try not to make it difficult for us staff members to deal with. We are trying our best to make everyone happy, and giving us negative comments isn't going to help. So on behalf of both communities, I would like to congratulate and thank both @Lookout and @Rewbin for giving us this opportunity! End of rant. :')

So much let everyone else I've been engrossed with Overwatch and while playing i grew to love Zenyatta design and lore behind him. So over the last week when I've had to time i have been busy drawing this and people would have seen this on my story and the steps that it's taken me to the final outcome. Made this logo/branding concept whilst bored at 4am. I don't expect this to replace the current branding, just wanted to share it here. I'm a lover of very modern and simplistic design, which is why this concept is very minimal aesthetically. In my opinion, less is more in some cases. Tell me what you think!

Okay, so I finished adding the Pixelmon mod to the IceOps Minecraft server and now I'm going to explain how to install and play it. Before we start I suggest that you have 6GB or more of RAM as you need a minimum of 2GB to run this mod because of the additional entities another thing you will need to have is Java SE 1.8 which can be found here ! This will allow Minecraft to use more than the original 1.5GB of RAM. THIS PROGRAM USES THE MINECRAFT LOGIN SYSTEM AND REQUIRE A LEGIT ACCOUNT. Now that's out of the way it's pretty simple. You just need to download the Pixelmon Launcher which is found here . You want to download the launcher for windows if you are using windows. Now that the program is install you want to open it and create a new profile. Name it as you wish and under there should be a mod selection. You want to select the mod Pixelmon 4.2.3 which is currently the newest version. After you select which mod it will add another selection box of which Forge version you would like to install. There should only be one version but if they add more later on the version is 11.5.1.1722. Okay so your profile is set up now you want to hit save and then look for the install button which will install the mods needed. Now you are done and can join the cs.iceops.co:25565 PixelMon server. Be sure to get whitelisted. Post below if you suffer any problems and I will try my best to fix them.
